THE SCHOOL TRIP

1 IN TOWN

MISS ARNOLD: Right! You’ve got three hours here. Now remember, the bus leaves at half past five from the ABC cinema. You mustn’t be late!

2 LATER

MIKE: Come on, Brian! It’s quarter past five.

We´ve got 15 minutes to get to de the cinema.

BRIAN: Just a minute! I can’t find the cinema on the map. Can you see it?

MIKE: Is that it?

BRIAN: No, it isn’t. That´s a bank.

MIKE: Well, don’t worry. We can ask someone.

BRIAN: Excused me. Is there a cinema near here?

WOMAN: Yes, there’s a cinema on Royal Road, next to the supermarket.

Turn right at the corner and then turn left.

BRIAN: Thank you.

MIKE: Come on, we mustn’t be late!

4 AT THE ABC CINEMA...

MIKE: Look, there’s the bus.

BRIAN: And it’s leaving.

Oh, no! Run!

5. MISS ARNOLD: Jenny, where are Mike AND Brian?

JENNY: Over there! They’re running to that bus.

MISS ARNOLD: But that isn’t our bus!
